Badran is responsible for transaction origination and client-coverage, with a particular focus on special situations and non-traditional secondaries.
Prior to joining Tradition Private Markets, Badran worked in the special situations and distressed debt space for a financial services boutique specialising in illiquid and distressed assets. There, he focused primarily on the sourcing and origination of illiquid direct credit secondaries, dealing in sovereign and corporate restructuring cases and other illiquid non-traditional assets. He also raised capital for a distressed debt fund, and was active in sourcing assets in line with the funds strategy. His clients range from hedge funds, family offices, legal practitioners, asset managers, investment bank trading desks and workout functions.
